The Theater de Chatelet in Paris hosted the 2019 Golden Ball Awards on Monday evening by France Football magazine.
The prestigious French magazine has been regularly awarding the prize since 1956.This is the 64th edition, and the Golden Ball saw a merger with FIFA and was jointly presented between the two sides from 2010 to 2015 before the split again.
Lionel Messi, Salah, Virgil van Dyck, Sadio Mane, Cristiano Ronaldo, Killian Mbappe and Karim Benzema are among the 30 candidates running this year.
